The Perry Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, July
31, 2013, from 7-9:00 p.m. at the Perry Elementary/Middle School Auditorium to present the
Library parking lot project, receive public comment, and answer questions. This meeting is intended to improve communication
between the Board of Trustees and the community, allow for all members of the community to
provide public comment, and to foster an open exchange of information and concerns between
all members of the community and the Library Board.
Opening the meeting will be presentations by Library Director Peggy Parker on the
Library and Board President Dave Bojanowski on the parking lot project.
Following the presentations a public comment period will be facilitated by Wyoming
County Director of Planning Art Buckley. Individuals
interested in providing public comments are required to submit their name and address to
Art upon arriving at the auditorium. The
facilitator will choose names at random and allow up to 2 minutes of public comment per
person. Only one comment period allowed per
person. Written comments may also be submitted
to the Board up until August 26, 2013, and will be distributed to trustees prior to the
September board meeting. All Board meetings
are open to the public, and we welcome your attendance and participation.
Following the public comment period the facilitator will conduct an open question
and answer period so those in attendance may pose questions to the Board for comment. The facilitator may allow follow up questions and
answers at his discretion.
The Library Board of Trustees values the opinions of the entire community and
encourages and welcomes all members of the community to attend the informative
presentations and provide comment and questions.
