Using
Your OWWL Library Card
1 library card 4 counties Heres how to access your library account and renew materials: (1) Go to: owwl.org (2) Click on the OWWL card to the right to open the catalog. (3) On the top right-hand part of the screen, enter your OWWL 14-digit library card number and 4-digit PIN. (Your PIN can be found on the blue paper you received with your library card. Ask at the library desk if you cannot find your PIN.) Then click just below on "Login for More Features." (4) Click on "My Account." From there you can choose any of the following: Review My Account User PIN Change Renew My Materials Just follow the directions on the screen for each choice. Review your account to make sure you followed the steps correctly. (5) Click on "Logout" when you are finished with your
account. IMPORTANT NOTE: If an item is overdue, you will not be able to renew it online. Call the library at 585-237-2243 to renew. Items that are on hold cannot be renewed.
(1) Go to: owwl.org(2) Click on the OWWL logo to open the catalog. (3) Search for the item you want. (4) Study the list carefully to find the right edition--fiction, large print, cassette,
CD, etc. Then, on the left side of the screen next to the item, click on "Full
Details" to see a full record of the item and a list of its current circulation
status at all libraries. (Note: If only one item matches your search, you will be taken
directly to this "full details" screen.) (6) Enter your OWWL 14-digit library card number and 4-digit PIN (found on the blue paper you received with your library card). From the drop-down menu, select the library where you want to pick up the item. Then click just below on "Place Hold." NOTE: If you were already logged in to your account, you will only have to select the library. The first available copy of the item in our library system will be sent to the library you selected, and you will be called when it arrives. (7) Click on "Logout" when you are finished with your
account.
