Services

Materials: Books, magazines, videotapes, DVDs, audio books, newspapers, pamphlets, large print books, local history files, maps, tax forms, described videos, assistive devices for loan, theme kits. Perry Public Library's holdings, along with the holdings of other members of the Pioneer Library System, are available on OWWL Access.

Facility: The Perry Public Library is handicapped accessible and consists of a main room, art gallery, children's room, and young adult room.

Computers: Several computers are available for reference, resumes, word processing, desktop publishing, signs, cards, games. Computer copies are 10¢ per page for black & white and 50¢ per page for color.

Internet Access: Public access to the Internet is available on six of the library's computers. Computers may be used for one-hour time segments and may be renewed if no one is waiting. Special allowance is made for research needs.
The library is also a Wi-Fi hotspot. The wireless network can be accessed using your own laptop and an OWWL borrower's card and PIN. There is a guest pass available for visitors.

Circulation, Renewal, Reserves, Returns: Library materials are circulated using the Pioneer Library System's OWWL Access integrated automation system. Patrons may renew or reserve materials online at www.perry.pls-net.org/OWWL_instructions.htm,
in person, by phone at 585-237-2243 or by e-mail to perrycircdesk@pls-net.org. Materials may be returned at the library or at any public library in a five-county area: Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming.

Copier: Basic photocopier charge is 10¢ per letter-size or legal-size page and 20¢ per ledger-size page.

Book Drop: The Library's book drop is located near the front entrance of the library.

Library Borrowing Privileges: Borrowers are required to register. A parent signature is required for children under age 14. A parent signature is also required for Internet use by children under age 18. Adults must provide identification with a current address.

Interlibrary Loan: As a member if the Pioneer Library System--Livingston, Ontario, Wayne, and Wyoming counties--the library is part of a vast network that reaches across the country and around the world.

Reference: Reference help is available in person or by phone (585-237-2243) during library hours.

Delivery to Home-Bound: Delivery of materials is available upon request.
